The Contour Magic

I know many of you scrolling down in all the social media platforms have noticed how often make up videos and tips are being published.  Just simple girl stuff that, nonetheless, is nice and useful to learn because I´m sure that, once you arrive at a party, everyone is going to admire your make up. However, they won´t be able to notice that you did it all by yourself, because it will look like a professional work. Soon, you are going to see just how easy, quick and effective it is.

A perfect make up starts with the contour foundation; in fact, if you have a well done contour, you will not have to use eyeshadow or so, just a little bit of lipstick and mascara. Let’s see how this magical thing works, but first you need the following:

  • 1 triangular knob

  • Dark liquid foundation ( approx. 3 tones darker than your skin color)

  • Liquid foundation 1 tone lighter than your skin

  • Pressed face powder of your skin tone

  • Skin highlighter

  • Blush of your choice

  • Moisturizer

You can buy all the things you need in any make up shop or in some drug stores, for example: Farmatodo and the Beauty Shop are perfect stores where you can find all the implements you need to look just like a princess.

STEP 1

Wash your face with cold water in order to close your skin pores and to prevent black heads. This will also make your make up

last longer because it will remove all the oil from your skin which is the one that tends to ruin it a little.

STEP 2

After you dry your skin, put on some moisturizer using the knob and then start to brush all over your face the one-tone-lighter

foundation. Spread it all over your chin and neck as well, because, if you forget your neck, you would look multicolored.

STEP 3

Start putting on the dark foundation in the way shown in the picture at the right. You can use the same knob as the one in step 2.

STEP 4

This step is basically to make all the tweaks needed before you start blurring both the dark and light foundations. You will probably look more or less like this:

STEP 5

Take your triangular knob and softly start mixing the edges of the foundations to make it look natural. Be careful not to leave any dark part without blurring it with the light part.

STEP 6

After you spread it all around and check to see there are no imperfections, you are ready to put on the pressed powder gently. Apply some blush in your cheekbone to give it depth. Use the skin highlighter for the tip of your nose since it will make your nose look upturned and thinner.

STEP 7: THE FINAL STEP

Your contour is now ready! All you have to do is add whatever you want to your make up: lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, etc. Perhaps you could think of a hairstyle that matches your make up. From now on it is up to you. I hope you nail it at the parties with this professional look made all by yourself.
